The Arnold Pfeffer Center for Neuro-Psychoanalysis is part of the New York Psychoanalytic Society & Institute. The Neuro-Psychoanalysis Program grew out of the activities of the Psychoanalysis-Neuroscience Study Group, which was founded in 1990. Presentations on topics of interdisciplinary interest are made by leading neuroscientists, followed by discussion.

The Philadelphia Center for Social Therapy is a counseling and training facility located in center city Philadelphia. The Philly Center provides both therapeutic services to adults and families with a wide range of emotional complaints and offers training in the performatory short-term approach called social therapy. Central to our mission is the belief that ongoing (or reinitiated) human development is necessary to deal with emotional distress, violence, and the host of other serious problems people confront each day.

The Philadelphia Lacan Study Group & Seminar has been meeting since 1989. It is an open seminar devoted to the discussion of Lacan's main ideas and their application to broader clinical, social, and cultural issues. The Philadelphia Psychiatric Society [PPS] is the voice of organized psychiatry in southeastern Pennsylvania. PPS is a chapter of the Pennsylvania Psychiatric Society, which is a district branch of the American Psychiatric Association [APA]. PPS has over 950 psychiatrist members.

Phoenix House is a non-profit substance abuse service organization, providing treatment for more than 5,000 adults and adolescents. A pioneer in the development of modern drug abuse treatment, Phoenix House was among the first to adopt self-help methods that make the individual the focus of treatment and address the underlying causes of drug abuse. The Jean Piaget Society [JPS], established in 1970, has an international, interdisciplinary membership of scholars, teachers and researchers interested in exploring the nature of the developmental construction of human knowledge. The Points of Light Foundation supports a national network of 480 Volunteer Centers across the country. In local communities, Volunteer Centers provide a variety of services, one of which is matching both individuals and groups with human service agencies in need of volunteers. The Points of Light Foundation believes that the services of unaffiliated volunteers during disaster response can be most effectively directed by local Volunteer Centers.
