The CARES Institute (Child Abuse Research, Education and Service) is a joint program of the Departments of Pediatrics and Psychiatry at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey - School of Osteopathic Medicine. The Institute is the only dedicated diagnostic and treatment for children suspected of maltreatment serving the seven southern counties of New Jersey.
